About 10 explosions in Dnipro: the consequences of the Russian combined attack as seen through the lens of Mykola Synelnikov

On Wednesday morning, July 3, Russians launched a combined attack on Dnipro. About 10 explosions were heard in the city. At approximately 8:45 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of enemy drones in the direction of Dnipro. A few minutes later, rockets were fired in the direction of the city.

The shelling damaged a shopping center, a medical facility and a gas station. At least five people were killed and 47 others were injured.


Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov noted that a 14-year-old girl was among the victims of the Russian attack on Dnipro, and 27 people were treated in hospitals.

Russian shelling damaged the facade of one of Dnipro's shopping centers located in Chechelivskyi district on the city's right bank. In addition, windows in two schools and three kindergartens were smashed. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the intensive care unit of a children's hospital. One of the outpatient clinics was damaged, and the archive room in another hospital caught fire.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has once again emphasized that only modern air defense and long-range weapons can stop Russian terror. "The world can protect lives, and this requires the determination of leaders. The determination that can and must make protection from terror the norm again," the President emphasized.


Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk said that for the morning attack, which took place mainly in Dnipropetrovs'k region, the Russians used 13 air targets: three Iskander-K cruise missiles, four X-59 guided missiles, five Shahed drones, and one Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone.


Tomorrow, July 4, mourning is declared in Dnipro.


On June 30, at about 16:30, Russian troops once again conducted an air strike on Kharkiv.
