UAFF exists to unite, amplify voices and protect the rights of Ukrainian professional photographers at national and international levels. Now, after the Russian invasion, our mission has become even more important — people from dozens of countries see the results of this work in the world's best media.
Some of our colleagues have died. We have to keep the memory of them. Others risk their lives every day to show and tell the truth. We have to support them.
The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) is a non-profit NGO that has been engaged in educational, social, research and cultural projects since 2013, supporting Ukrainian photographers, photo schools and book publishers.
The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) represents Ukrainian professional photography in the international photographic community and is engaged in the development and establishment of quality standards for professional photography in Ukraine in order to guarantee the status of the members of the association and the high level of Ukrainian photography in general.
The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) is an official member of the Federation of European Photographers (FEP) — an international, reputable, non-profit organization that has existed since 1999 and represents more than 50,000 professional photographers in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
FEP protects the rights of professional photographers directly and in cooperation with national and international organizations. It represents the interests of the members of the association on a global scale in the following areas: education, training, professional standards, authors' rights, etc. FEP has a 3-level qualification system for both photographers and videographers. UAPP members have the exclusive right to obtain EP, QEP and MQEP qualifications to certify their professional level internationally.
