Darya Svertilova

Born in 1996 in Odesa, Ukraine. Currently lives and works in Kyiv and Paris.

In 2023, Daria received a master's degree in Photography from the Paris School of Decorative Arts.
Her photographic practice focuses on reflecting the connections between the past and present, particularly regarding the younger generation of Ukrainians and the socio-cultural context in which youth live. Using photography as her primary medium, Daria aims to create an honest and dignified portrait of her generation.

Daria regularly participates in exhibitions abroad and works with both foreign and Ukrainian press. In 2022, she became a finalist for the Palm Photo Prize. Her works are part of the collection of the Museum of the Kharkiv School of Photography (MOKSOP).
