Documentary photographer from Lviv, Ukraine. A member of the National Society of Photo Artists of Ukraine. Finalist of the International Fujifilm Moment Street Photo Awards 2021. Working with personal projects, long test stories, documentary, and reportage photography.
Following the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 she has been documenting the Russian-Ukrainian war, focusing on civilians and their lives.
Her work has been published in INSIDER, The Financial Times, Der Spiegel, The Fisheye Magazine, The Ukrainians, Bird in Flight, and more. Her images have been exhibited in group exhibitions across Europe and the US. In April 2023, she received a directory grant from the International Center of Photography to study Documentary Practises and Visual Journalism in New York. In September 2023, she held her first solo exhibition “The Wall: Witness to the War in Ukraine” in Roberta’s Art Gallery in Wisconsin, USA.
UAPP is an independent association of professional Ukrainian photographers, designed to protect their interests, support, develop and promote Ukrainian photography as an important element of national culture.
UAPP's activities span educational, social, research and cultural initiatives, as well as book publishing.
UAPP represents Ukrainian professional photography in the international photographic community and is an official member of the Federation of European Photographers (FEP) — an international organization representing more than 50,000 professional photographers in Europe and other countries around the world.
