Ukrainian photographer and videographer, born in 2002 in Kharkiv, where he still lives. He studied journalism at Karazin University and cinematography at the Academy of Culture.
Before the full-scale invasion, he was engaged in street photography, and since 2022 he has been documenting the consequences of the war in his hometown and region. In the same year, he participated in the Photographic Storytelling Mental Program from Odesa Photo Days, which helped him become more confident in his professional path in photography.
For a long time, he worked for the local Gvara media as a photo and video correspondent. He has participated in a number of international and Ukrainian photo exhibitions, and in 2023 he received the award for Best Cinematography in the documentary short film Lily of the Valley from the Media Development Foundation.
Currently, he is creating video content at Luke Media, and also collaborates with Agence France Press, Getty Images, charitable organizations, etc.
UAPP is an independent association of professional Ukrainian photographers, designed to protect their interests, support, develop and promote Ukrainian photography as an important element of national culture.
UAPP's activities span educational, social, research and cultural initiatives, as well as book publishing.
UAPP represents Ukrainian professional photography in the international photographic community and is an official member of the Federation of European Photographers (FEP) — an international organization representing more than 50,000 professional photographers in Europe and other countries around the world.
