Oleh Palchyk

Oleh Palchyk is a photographer, journalist, and junior sergeant of the Public Relations Service of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As a photographer, he has been professionally engaged in documentary, advertising and creative photography since 2006. From 2011 to 2014, he worked as a reportage photographer at the Kharkiv City Council. In 2011-2012, he covered the preparation and holding of the European Football Championship EURO-2012 in Kharkiv.

From 2016 to 2018, he worked at PositivePictures, one of the largest production companies in Ukraine, as a post-production designer and photographer. At different times, he has worked with such companies as Lexus, Unicef, DCH, Kharkiv International Airport, FC Metallist, FC Shakhtar, Ahmad Tea, Toyota, McDonalds, Samsung, Phillip Morris, Procter & Gamble, etc.

He was awarded the Cross of Valour medal by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the medal "For Service to the State" by the Commander of the Tavria Air Assault Forces, awarded the badge "Shield of the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" and awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine "For the best coverage of military topics in works of literature and art".
