Yevhen Borysovskyi
Currently, he is the head of the communications department of the 148th separate artillery brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On February 26, 2022, he volunteered. In April 2023, he was transferred to the artillery brigade as a press officer.
Until 2016, he took photography as a hobby and additional income. That is, until Hryhorii Vepryk suggested that he set up his own photo agency, which would specialize in business and industrial photography. It wasn't our thing to shoot weddings, holidays, children's birthday parties, or glamor. That's how The Gate Agency was born. During the prewar years, the agency developed and scaled up. It cooperated with big business, large industrial production, politicians, and business sports shoots. But shooting sports competitions, shooting rusty factories, tired dirty workers, or grimacing athletes resonated with me the most. The truth and its moments, in all their authenticity, in the whole palette of their emotions, with a certain dirtiness and naturalness.
