"Wiki Loves Earth" is an international photo contest to enrich Wikimedia Commons with pictures of natural heritage sites, initiated in 2013 by the NGO "Wikimedia Ukraine". Participants photograph natural monuments and objects of the nature reserve fund and upload them to Wikimedia Commons. The goal of the event is to collect photographs of natural heritage sites and objects of the nature reserve fund and place them on Wikimedia Commons to illustrate Wikipedia articles - a free encyclopedia viewed by millions of users every day, as well as the protection of the surrounding natural environment.

UAPP is an independent association of professional Ukrainian photographers, designed to protect their interests, support, develop and promote Ukrainian photography as an important element of national culture.
