The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India implemented an exhibition, the opening of which took place in 2022. Partners and partial sponsors of the exhibition were the Polish Institute in India, the Pharmaceutical Company “Kusum” and representatives of the Ukrainian community in India.
The main idea of the exhibition is to demonstrate the terrible consequences of Russian aggression in Ukraine, the struggle of Ukrainians for freedom and their unbreakable desire for peace. The exposition is divided into two parts — “dark and light”. The “dark” part contains photographs of Ukrainian military photocorrespondents Mstislav Chernov, Andriy Dubchak and materials provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Telegram channel “Azov-Mariupol”. The “bright” part presents drawings of Ukrainian children, made at the end of 2021 and handed over to the Embassy as part of the project “Children to Children” by the head of the International Charitable Foundation “Ukraine-Israel-Transit”. In the drawings, children talk about their dreams and express a desire to be friends with peers from different countries of the world. The most expressive dream of Ukrainian children was and remains unchanged — peace in their native country.
