18 січня в суді Фрунзенського району Мінська (Білорусь) розглядатимуть справу білоруського фотографа Олександра Васюковича. Про це повідомляє правозахисний центр «Вясна».
Фотографу інкримінують ст. 342 Кримінального кодексу Білорусі (організація та підготовка дій, що грубо порушують громадський порядок, або активну участь у них). Анонс судового засідання правозахисники помітили в розкладі судів. Васюкович перебуває в слідчому ізоляторі.
За інформацією Білоруської асоціації журналістів, у 2016 році під час виставки в Москві знімки Васюковича з війни в Україні облили фарбою. Зробив це російський художник Антон Бєліков. Він також назвав Васюковича «фашистом».
Олександр Васюкович – відомий білоруський фотограф-фрилансер. Він документував російсько-українську війну в Україні. У 2020 році його затримували на акціях протесту в Білорусі.
