The photobook “Brave to Carry the Light” about the most difficult winter in the history of independent Ukraine was published in cooperation with the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers and the publishing house Ist publishing house. It contains photographs of more than 30 Ukrainian authors and authors who during the autumn of 2022, winter and spring 2023 recorded the energy crisis due to the destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure facilities by the Russian military. First of all, it is a visual edition about the struggle of Ukrainians for light — from outside and inside, as well as about the courage of each and everyone to continue working in their fields, because darkness disappears where the light comes out.

The publication includes a foreword by the famous Ukrainian cultural figure Vlad Troitsky, as well as accompanying texts to three chapters and captions to photographs of the authors, which further expand the context.
