Documentary photographers worked at the scene of the tragedyKonstantin and Vlada Liberov. In their publication, they described the night attack as yet another proof of Russian cynicism: “This is what Russia's desire for peace looks like. This is what the Russian ceasefire looks like. Russia is lying. And in fact, nothing has changed in her plans. All the same as 24.02.22. As in 2014. Like a hundred years ago. They want to destroy. They want us not to exist.”According to Liberov, one of the most painful stories is the death of an elderly woman who was burned alive in her own apartment: “This is no exaggeration — the whole area heard these terrible inhuman screams.”The photographers ended their publication with a call to support the defenders: “We turn rage into donuts. That's all we have.”
