Special attention will be given to works that promote social change. The judges will look for a photographer and project that use exemplary and compelling photojournalism and documentary photography (possibly supplemented by or including multimedia) to address issues such as humanitarian issues, armed conflict, or other topics of interpersonal, psychological, cultural, social, environmental, scientific, medical, and/or political significance.

Requirements:

Biography of up to 1,500 characters (without spaces). A resume of up to 2,000 characters (including spaces) is optional and may be submitted in PDF format of unlimited length instead.

Project description:

A brief synopsis or summary of the project. This plan should be short but comprehensive. Ideally, the project should be journalistic, feasible, visually translatable, and humanistic. The description should not exceed 2,000 characters (including spaces).
