The organizers are offering one grant totaling $20,000 and six grants of $5,000 each to support documentary projects that highlight decision-based environmental narratives.
“It is essential that grant recipients focus on documenting the history of their own communities. Our goal is to support local journalism, so we specifically target photographers who live in the communities they seek to highlight. We will not consider applications from photographers outside the relevant community or country,” the statement said.
Recipients will have the opportunity to work on their projects for twelve months, bringing these amazing stories to life.
