Applications are now open for the Vivian Esders Award, which recognizes photographers who have been actively working for over 40 years and demonstrate a persistent artistic approach.
Requirements for applicants: professional photographers aged 60 or older of European nationality with 30 years of professional experience. At the time of application, candidates must not represent any collective or agency.
Applications may be submitted in French or English.
The winner will receive a grant of €50,000. They undertake to allocate €10,000 of the prize money to the publication of a book about their work (monograph).
