On the evening of March 29, Russian terrorists once again violated international humanitarian law by attacking a military hospital in Kharkiv. The attack killed two people in the city - a 67-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman. Another 35 people were injured, including five children. One of the hits occurred directly to a private residential building and completely destroyed it. As a result, a fire broke out over an area of 100 square meters. Rescuers unblocked the injured man and the body of the deceased woman from the rubble. Firefighting and rubble removal are ongoing.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the JFO, confirmed the deaths of two people and said that the Russians had also attacked a military hospital in Kharkiv.

Kharkiv-based documentary photographer Ivan Samoilov notes that the tactics of attacks on the city have recently changed.

"Earlier, in 2024, it was mostly KABs or missiles that flew, but in the last two months, missiles have been arriving very rarely. Instead, the Russians are using large groups of kamikaze drones. They use this practice against other cities as well," he says.

Samoilov adds that it is more difficult to withstand such attacks psychologically, because the missile arrives quickly and the drones circle the city for a long time, causing a lot of moral tension.

More than 1,300 CABs and 1,000 attack drones in a week

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that over the past week, most regions of the country have been under attack by Russian troops. During this time, the enemy used 1,310 guided aerial bombs, more than 1,000 attack drones, among which Shahids predominated, as well as nine missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles.

“Our air defense soldiers, mobile fire groups and all units involved in the defense of the sky managed to shoot down a significant part of them,” Zelenskyy emphasized. He also emphasized that Russia is dragging out the war, and Ukraine provides its partners with all information about the strikes and the enemy's preparations for new attacks. The President expects a response from the United States, Europe and all allies to this terror against the Ukrainian people.
