Each year, the competition creates a mural that highlights the best photojournalism and documentary reporting.
The World Report Award|Documenting Humanity is not just a competition that provides financial support to those actively involved in this challenging field of photography, but also a way for all participants to join the supportive community we have built over the past 15 years, made up of professionals who already collaborate with our organization.
The award is managed by the Ethical Photography Festival. This event was launched in 2010 with the aim of focusing attention on ethical content, which is highly relevant, bringing the general public closer to social issues. We believe that photography is and has been a vital tool in conveying the reality of social injustice around the world, and we want to highlight the connection between ethics, communication, and photography through an innovative and diverse festival.
What can you win? A cash prize of over €10,000, the opportunity to visit Italy, and the chance to realize the “Traveling Festival” exhibition project for three years.
