“Outside the window, the “arrival” was clearly audible. First I went to the shelter, and then I ran to record the consequences of the enemy attack,” says the photographer.

However, while the fire was extinguished, repeated shelling began.

“Together with the State Emergency Service, we were forced to hide because it flew close to our place of stay,” says Jacob.

The death toll from the rocket attack in Zaporozhye rose to eight, thirteen injured.  The first explosions in the city occurred at 7:30 a.m. The enemy hit infrastructure facilities and the private housing sector.

“After the alarm was over, I immediately went with the journalists to where the rocket completely destroyed two private houses. At the moment it is known about the death of two women, another man was searched under the rubble. Rescuers, municipal services and forensics worked at the scene. Also nearby were relatives of the dead — the daughter of a man who was being searched under the rubble. As a result of the missile attack, she lost her grandmother. The girl called her father, but the phone was disconnected,” says photojournalist Kateryna Klochko.
