On February 19, the Café Kyiv event will be held in Berlin, an annual event dedicated to Ukraine, organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. During the event, representatives of politics, business and culture will unite around the themes of supporting Ukraine and discussing its European future.
The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers will join the exhibition “Armed Truth - 10 Years of the Revolution of Dignity and Euromaidan in Ukraine” within the framework of the event.
The exhibition includes photographs taken by Ukrainian documentarians Mstislav Chernov and Vyacheslav Ratynsky during the Revolution of Dignity and during key historical events in Ukraine over the past 10 years.
In addition, at 18:30 there will be a panel discussion “Journalism during the War” with UAPP Operations Manager Olga Kovalyova and UAPP journalist Katya Moskalyuk.
“In addition to further providing substantial support to Ukraine, we would like to focus more on the European future of this country. Ten years after the Revolution of Dignity, in 2024, we are again holding Cafe Kyiv event in Berlin and proclaiming: The Future of Ukraine in Europe!” - added Bohdan Miftakhov, representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The venue is the Colosseum Berlin cinema complex (10437 Berlin, Gleimstraße 31).
You can get acquainted with the program by link.
Café Kyiv is organized for the second time by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Last year, under the slogan “We choose freedom”, a symbolic renaming took place in the cafe “Kyiv” of the cafe space Cafe Moskau in the city of Berlin. The previous events were attended by European parliamentarians, ministers, ambassadors, representatives of Ukrainian institutions and organizations.
