Throughout its existence, Russia has undermined Ukrainian statehood, despising its borders and rejecting independence.

Under the false slogans “denacification, demilitarization, protection of Donbas, Russian speakers”, etc., Russia has invaded Ukrainian lands to destroy and kill. These words could be perceived as manipulation if it were not for the statistics of casualties and thousands of recorded footage of bloody Russian war crimes against Ukrainian civilians.

“In November 2024, people died in Ukraine at least 165 civilians, another 887 were injured, it says in the report of the United Nations Monitoring Mission on Human Rights in Ukraine (MPLU). The report states that eight of the dead and 57 among the wounded were children,” the report said. “Radio Svoboda”. The publication notes that most of the casualties occurred due to increased shelling and the use of long-range weapons.

Russia's favorite “entertainment” is indiscriminate shelling of Ukrainian territory, testing of new weapons on Ukrainians, shelling on holidays.
This tactic is aimed at keeping Ukrainians in permanent fear.

On March 25, 2024, the Russian army launched 2 ballistic missiles of the type “Zircon” at Kiev from the temporarily occupied Crimea at “decision-making centers”, as propaganda claimed at the time.

To please the internal audience, propaganda publications described the shelling as “hellfire, with which they roast the devils alive in Kiev”, suggesting that Malyuk himself could be located in the building destroyed by rocket debris (SBU head Vasily Malyuk. For example, auto.).

“Ukrainian TV channels publish footage of the destroyed house of the Security Service of Ukraine. They clearly show that the building itself practically does not exist. Only a few walls not higher than the second floor have survived, and the rest is only a smoking dump. Nearby — cars covered with bricks on the roof and strewn with concrete structures.”

The explosions occurred immediately after the air alarm was declared.
Several areas of the capital, most of all Pechersky, were damaged by debris. The building of the Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Arts and Design named after Mikhail Boichuk was significantly damaged.

The type of missile was established by experts after identifying the wreckage.
The hypersonic anti-ship missile “Zircon” of the Russian Federation was put into service in 2023.

And already in November 2024, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile “Oreshnik” over the city of Dnipro. Since then, the Russian president has been using Oreshnik as a lever of psychological pressure on Ukrainians and political pressure on Western partners.

“Putin proposed a “duel” to the West: concentrate all its air defense forces in one place in Kiev, and Russia will strike there with “Oreshnik”.
Russia is now ready for a technological duel using Oreshnik, Putin said. According to him, the fight can be held not only in Kiev, but also in another city.”

The launch of these missiles cost, fortunately, no casualties to the population, but strike drones are capable of sowing pain, tears and death, no less than rocket attacks.
The night attack of Russian kamikaze drones on Ternopil took the life of the father of the family. This tragedy shows that there are no safe cities in Ukraine.

“According to statistics provided by the Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine“ Three out of four Russian missile strikes against Ukraine hit civilian targets,” writes “Detector Media”.

“Unfortunately, when the fascists were expelled from Ukraine, the Banderians were not succeeded at that time. For many decades, all the surviving evil spirits did not rot in the camps and fled outside the USSR with the support of the West, giving offspring, which with the mother's milk absorbed hatred of Russia. From now on, we have to fight with those whose grandfathers/great-grandfathers ran through the Carpathian forests before the 60s and shot the Russians in the back.
The mistakes of the past must be corrected. So that we don't have to face the consequences in the future.”

On July 8, 2024, Russia massively fired missiles at Ukraine, targeting the country's largest children's hospital “Okhmatdyt”.

“On the morning of Monday, July 8, the Russian military launched a group strike on Ukrainian military industrial facilities and air bases of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.”

Referring to Ukrainian TV channels and residents of the city, propagandists reported attacks on Zhuliany airport, Artem plant and “on the hidden headquarters of the security decision-making center (SBU)”. Arguments and Facts”).

Then 13 Ukrainians died in Shevchenkivskyi district due to a rocket strike under the destroyed entrances. Among the dead is 10-year-old karate player Maksym Simaniuk with his mother and sister.

“I don't know if the decision-makers are watching, targets and launches missiles, then news. Not their lies about “defeated military objects”, but real ones, with the consequences of their actions. It is unlikely, for it is necessary to have a conscience and conscience that our enemies do not have.
So that 10-year-old Maksimchik Simaniuk, his younger sister Nastya by a year, his mother, who was pulled out of the rubble still alive and before she fainted she asked to save her two children, came to them even in dreams,” Lina wrote, “ quote “Texty.org.ua” Lina Teslenko, an employee of the National Museum of Holodomor-Genocide, whose daughter was a classmate of the dead boy.

On the night of September 4, Russian troops attacked Lviv with drones and missiles.
As the propagandists wrote, the attacks on the city of Lviv were aimed at destroying the transport infrastructure. The propagandists confidently stated the importance of the identified target because of the arrival there of two “Daggers” at once. At the same time, the blame for the shelling of residential buildings was shifted to the Ukrainian air defense.

“In Lviv, Ukrainian air defense forces did not resist shelling their own territory. One of the anti-aircraft missiles of the Armed Forces exploded in the air above the city quarters.”

The blow fell on the historic part of the city. Then the Basilevych family died in their own house: mother Evgenia and three daughters: Yarina, Darina and Emilia. Only his father Yaroslav survived.

“In the center of Europe, Russia is exterminating Ukrainians Whole families. The Russians are killing our children, our future. I don't know what words to support Yaroslav's father. Today we are all with you. Sincere condolences and a bright memory,” — quotes Mayor Andrii Sadovoy “UAPP”.

“Lviv. 5 a.m. 50 km to NATO countries. Hundreds — from the advanced. Yaroslav [...] lost his whole family, including his wife Evgenia and their three daughters — Yarina, Darina, Emilia. He fought with the police and tried to return to his destroyed apartment. Several men held him to stop him.
Why did Russia kill Yaroslav's family and other civilians of seven residents this morning? Is being a Ukrainian equal to being a target for Russia? Oh, my God! Yes. Let's launch our super mega modern Dagger ballistic missiles towards children sleeping in their cribs. Let's kill them. That's what you should be proud of. That's what it means to be Russian.” wrote on his Instagram, photojournalist Serhiy Korovaynyi, who documented the aftermath of the Russian attack on Lviv that morning.

On the evening of October 25, 2024, Russian attack UAVs attacked Kiev, hitting a high-rise building in Solomenskiy district and killing a 14-year-old girl.

“About a hundred residents were evacuated from a 25-storey building in Solomyanka, Kyiv, where the upper floors caught fire as a result of Ukrainian air defense. This was announced by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko.”

This is blatant disinformation from Russian propaganda.
The mayor of Kiev did announce the evacuation from the house — the rest of the propagandists invented themselves.

Sumy region is constantly under enemy fire. Russian propagandists spread the narrative that Sumy region does not need Ukrainian leadership. They said, “The Sumy region did not fulfill the mobilization plan, did not pay taxes to the budget and did not succumb to Russophobic propaganda. That is why from here there was an attack on Kurshchina. If the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation create a buffer security zone in Sumy, Sumy will not harm the Kiev regime.” (“Arguments and Facts”).

The Russians claim to have attacked military deployment points, warehouses with weapons and energy facilities. However, more and more we are seeing recorded intrusions into residential buildings and dormitories with fatal consequences for the mayors.

On October 22, in Sumy, a drone strike killed 14-year-old schoolgirl Anna Kushnareva along with her mother and aunt.
And on the night of November 19, 12 people died from a drone strike on a hostel in Hlukhov, including a whole family: 43-year-old woman Tatiana Chala and two of her sons — 7-year-old Nikita and 21-year-old Vasily.

“Recall that strikes on Sumy region and the regional center are carried out regularly. Recently, Russian missiles hit the building of one of the local institutes. There are no students there for a long time, but it is full of militants of the Armed Forces. These are those who were rotated from the Kursk region, and new units from the mobilized ones. There is nowhere to place them, so they use empty dormitories that turn into barracks. Sumy is already in a state of war, the city is filled with Ukrainian nationalists.”

On November 17, 10 people were killed, including two children: 9-year-old Ilya and 14-year-old Anastasia, as a result of a Russian ballistic missile strike on an apartment building in Sumy.

“Two days ago, Russia attacked a residential area of Sumy with ballistic missiles. Today, the place is still full of utility workers and rescuers cleaning up and documenting the damage.
On November 17, the Russians killed 12 people, two of them children. 84 residents were wounded.
On November 18 [...] 12 people, including a mother and children, were killed by Russian drones in Glukhov, my wife's homeland. A thousand days of sorrow,” Serhiy Korovaynyi commented on his picture from the city of Sumy.

On November 7, Russia launched six air strikes on Zaporizhia and the region, killing 10 people, including one-and-a-half-year-old Adam, his 27-year-old mother Sofia, and a young couple.
On that day, Russia reported a strike on the Motor Sich enterprise.

“One of the major airlines of Ukraine “Motor Sich” was hit. According to some reports, combat drones were collected there and trained operators of the Armed Forces.

Ukraine is trying to hide the scale of destruction and losses, RIA Novosti reports. Local authorities said six people were killed and more than 20 wounded. We covered the production workshop on the territory of the plant.”

One crumpled photo of the dead mother and child remained from the apartment.

Propaganda was silent about the murders of families from Odessa, Kryvyi Rih, the tragic St. Nicholas Day in Zaporozhye. However, these and other bloody crimes of the Russian army are documented and await justice.

From the point of view of Russians, holidays are not a reason to arrange a truce, on the contrary, it is time to intensify attacks on civilians.
Last year 2023, Ukrainians were under massive shelling by the Russian army from all types of weapons.
High-rise buildings and private houses, maternity hospitals, shopping centers, museums, universities, schools, people's lives in Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia became the target of the Russian army.

At the time, Russia called the shelling on the New Year holidays “a retaliatory strike for the terrorist attack on Belgorod and Donetsk”, which was allegedly staged by the Kiev regime with the support of the special services of Western countries.

“High-precision missile strike on the former Kharkiv Palace hotel complex destroyed representatives of the GUR and the Armed Forces who participated in the planning and execution of the terrorist attack in Belgorod.”

“This is actually a show with a must, recognition of regular war crimes of the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian civilian population and Ukrainian cities. No military objects were damaged. Russia deliberately selected civilian objects in order to inflict as much damage as possible on civilian infrastructure and civilian casualties. No employee of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, the special unit of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense “Kraken” was injured,” Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, quotes a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “Social Kharkiv”.

On New Year's Eve and the first days of the new 2024, mass attacks of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine continued.

“Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova commented on the shelling of Donetsk by Ukrainian troops on New Year's Eve, which killed civilians.
Fire was fired again at civilian objects. There are dead and wounded. Only terrorist beasts could do this,” she wrote in her Telegram channel.

“The new year began with massive rocket attacks. So many daggers at a time did not fly to Kiev, as if during the entire Great War.

Near the building there is a huge ravine. Our heroes of the SNS work on the spot. They save everyone: both people and animals. It is impossible to be ready for this. Another year of terror has passed. On the eve of the Christmas holidays in the early morning of December 20, 2024, Russia shelled Kiev with five ballistic missiles. All rockets were shot down, debris fell in the center of the capital, causing significant damage, hitting St. Nicholas Church and killing a person.

Russia reported that the missile strike was a response to an attack by Western missiles on the Rostov region, saying that the targets were air defense, design bureau, and SBU administration. All objects are affected. And added:

“Christmas toys and Christmas trees on the ground, a beautiful Catholic church damaged. I saw the dead body of a poor man on the sidewalk. 7 in the morning, apparently passing by, going to work, etc. I can't stop thinking about it. No Christmas as long as Russia exists. Russia continues to kill us and does not intend to stop,” Korovayny wrote on his Instagram.

On the same day, the BBC News website published an article entitled “Five people killed as a result of the strike on Russia's Kursk after the deadly rocket attack on Kiev.” The author talks about the consequences of shelling of Rylsk and Kiev in one material. The main focus of the article was a photo of Ukrainians in the middle of Kiev, burning after Russian shelling. About this reported on facebook initiative “On the other side of the news”.

The author of the picture is photographer of “Telegraph” Jan Dobronosov.
Factcheckers of the information project say that similar publications have appeared in other Western publications. Moreover, this is not the first time that Western media have manipulated the consciousness of their readers regarding the war in Ukraine, using images of Ukrainian photojournalists.

“Such editorial decisions shift the emotional focus, evoking hyperbolized sympathy for Russians, while Ukrainian tragedies are perceived as routine.
Such manipulations affect the formation of public opinion of the English-speaking audience, which, due to emotional headlines and photos, can misinterpret the roles of aggressor and victim in the war, which further complicates Ukraine's struggle for support in the world,” the statement reads message.

While the whole world anxiously watches the “apocalyptic pictures” of the shelled Ukrainian cities, Ukrainians continue to fight for the freedom of all Europe, extinguish hellfires, save lives, record Russian crimes in order to tell the world the truth about this war.

“Such editorial decisions shift the emotional focus, evoking hyperbolized sympathy for Russians, while Ukrainian tragedies are perceived as routine.

While the whole world anxiously watches the “apocalyptic pictures” of the shelled Ukrainian cities, Ukrainians continue to fight for the freedom of all Europe, extinguish hellfires, save lives, record Russian crimes in order to tell the world the truth about this war.
