Members of the UAPF, spouses of photojournalists Konstantin and Vlad Liberova will present a series of pictures from the war on April 4 at the VDNG in Kyiv. The exposition features more than 150 documentary photographs and videos taken over the past two years in frontline cities and directly on the front lines.

During the full-scale war, Kostya and Vlada toured the hottest areas of the front, documenting the consequences of Russian shelling and the work of the Ukrainian military. Thus, Konstantin spent many hours with the infantry at ground zero, accompanying assault groups on assaults to show what titanic efforts it is worth to preserve every piece of land.

“We record the terrible reality, full of loss and pain that the enemy has brought to our land. All for the sake of the main goal — not to let anyone forget that the war is going on in Ukraine, because it can be ended only if everyone makes every day effort to do this. So the big exhibition at VDNG is another opportunity to focus on this topic and gather help for our military: every entrance ticket will become a donation for the purchase of drones,” Liberov said.

Among the photos presented in the framework of the “Line of Contact” are “Cemetery of shells in Kharkov”, “Battle for Bakhmut”, “Winter at the front. Serebryansky forest”, “30 hours at zero”, “The left bank of the Kherson region”, “The last assault of Da Vinci” and other war series. The second block of the exhibition will show the reality of the civilian population with footage from Maryinka, Bakhmut, Soledar, Kherson, Lysychansk, Bucha, Nikolaev and other Ukrainian cities affected by the Russian invasion.

Lieberov's work has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Independent and other well-known international media, and TIME magazine included the photographers' snapshots in its list of the 100 Best Photos of 2022 and 2023.

The exhibition “Line of Contact” will be open in Pavilion No. 4 at VDNG from April 4 to 21, 2024.

You can see the exposition by making a donut from 100 UAH concourse. Also, if desired, you can purchase any work. Funds collected during the exhibition period will be transferred for purchase 1000 fpv dronesfor the military.
