“Without recounting events or reflecting, we are doomed to other people's interpretations of our struggle. Interpretations of the equalizers of all wars, who are ready to write new reports without switching TV channels, and reconcile the rapist with the victim, tearfully reminding that even the murderer and marauder have a loving mother,” writes the founder of the Ukraininer project in the preface to the book Bohdan Logvinenko.
“Everyone who participates in war has his own path. Very often it passes off-road and asphalt, broken pits. Miroslav managed to collect and show all the pain of the history of each of his heroes. Thanks to books like this one, whole generations will learn about the titanic efforts of the Ukrainian military,” says Yevhen Maloletka, Associated Press photojournalist and Pulitzer Prize winner.
