On the night of February 23, the Russians once again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. Air-proof defense managed to destroy 23 attack UAVs out of 31 within the Odessa, Nikolaev, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv regions.
In Dnipro, an attack on a high-rise building was recorded, the enemy targeted the enterprise. This was reported by Serhiy Lisak, chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
“Unfortunately, the hits could not be avoided. Of the eight victims of the attack, two remain in a medical facility. They are in a state of medium severity. The rest will be treated on an outpatient basis.”---- Lisak noted.
He specified that as a result of the attack, two enterprises, three private houses were damaged, and utility buildings were damaged. Also affected power lines.
It was a restless night for the Odessa residents. One of the affected drones fell on an enterprise in the coastal area of the city. The fall caused destruction and fire. A woman was immediately evacuated from the building, she was not injured. However, during the elimination of the fire, rescuers first found the body of one dead person, and then retrieved the bodies of two more people from under the rubble. The search operation has now been suspended, informed in Odesa OVA.
As reported in Defense Forces of the SouthIn addition to attack drones, the Russians tried to attack Ukraine with missiles. From the aircraft of tactical and strategic aviation from the waters of the Black Sea, the invaders launched X-31P and X-22 missiles. Fortunately, none of the missiles reached the shore. They lost combat capability in the air and fell into the sea.
