On 5 October, Russian armed forces launched a rocket attack on the village of Groza in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region. A local coffee shop was destroyed. According to Focus, dozens of people were killed.

▪️ The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, wrote in his telegram about the events at 15:45. Initially, 48 people were reported dead.
▪️ Later, at 16:00, the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine reported that 49 people had been killed in the attack.
▪️ The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, said that at the time of the attack the village was holding a memorial dinner and that one in ten residents had died.
▪️ According to Olena Shapoval, spokeswoman for the head of the Kharkiv regional administration, the rocket attack on the village of Groza was the deathliest in the region since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
▪️ The state emergencies service reported that rescuers had finished the search for people under the rubble in the village of Groza, Kupyansk district, at 19:50. The death toll remains the same as previously reported - 51 people (including a child born in 2017), with 6 people injured.
"One of the most difficult moments during the filming was when the phone of the killed person rang. We gathered the documents, phones and things we found in one place," said Yakiv.
