The Russian army launched a ballistic missile strike on a hotel with Reuters journalists in Kramatorsk. Among them are seriously injured and missing

On the night of August 25, Russian troops hit the Sapphire hotel in Kramatorsk with an Iskander missile. Six members of the Reuters team spent the night there.

One of the journalists is in intensive care, another was hospitalized with minor injuries, the third member of the group is still under the rubble.

“A member of a Reuters team covering the war in Ukraine has gone missing and two others have been hospitalized after shelling a hotel in the city of Kramatorsk,” the statement said. Reuters.

“All three victims are journalists, citizens of Ukraine, the United States and Great Britain,” wrote the head of Donetsk OVA Vadim Filashkin.

Three other mediators were found. In addition to the hotel, a nearby high-rise building was also damaged.

Polish journalist Monika Andruszewska, who was passing by the scene of the shelling, was also injured. She reported this to herself in Facebook.

Recall that at night the Russians hit two missiles of the X-59 type on Kharkov. As a result of the attack, eight people received injuries of varying severity.
