The destroyed warehouse of Nova Poshta in Odesa after a ballistic strike in the photos by Tymofiy Melnikov and Oleksandr Gimanov

On the evening of May 1, Russian troops once again attacked Odessa. The enemy struck the warehouses and the branch of Novaya Poshta. Information about the attack was confirmed on the official page of the NP. According to preliminary data, about 900 shipments were damaged and destroyed.

“The estimated cost of all parcels that were destroyed as a result of the strike will be compensated to customers in full. We will contact all recipients tomorrow. Parcels that were on the way were redirected to 3 branches of Novaya Poshta in Odessa,” the company said.

Novaya Pošta pointed out that there are no dead and injured among the employees. All 18 people who were on shift managed to hide in a shelter. The press service also added that the company will provide psychological assistance to every employee who worked that night.

Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper reported that as a result of the attack in Odessa, not only mail warehouses, but also civilian infrastructure were damaged. “There are broken windows in the surrounding houses. Law enforcement officers record another crime of Russians against the civilian population,” the head of the OVA wrote.

He noted that a total of 14 Odessians suffered from the ballistic attack.

Recall that on the evening of Monday, April 29, the Russians hit civilian objects Odesa. Russian troops struck with an Iskander-M missile with a cassette warhead. As a result of the attack, five people were killed and 32 were injured.
