The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) in cooperation with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the PinchukArtCentre, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine implemented a project that presented an exhibition about Russia's war crimes in Ukraine.

It was first presented on May 23, 2022, during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The venue was chosen as the former “Russian House” — a building that previously served as a venue for meetings of Russian businessmen and politicians with investors. This symbolic gesture was intended to draw the attention of the world community to the terrible reality of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The world saw the true face of Russia — a state that not only invaded a peaceful country, but also actively attacks the civilian population of Ukraine, committing real atrocities such as rape, execution and bombing. The exhibition featured photographs taken all over Ukraine since the beginning of the war. The project depicted only a small proportion of known crimes. However, in this way, the exhibition returned faces and names to Ukrainians, who turned into statistics. Thanks to her, the figures have become human again, and in the midst of a huge number of crimes, some of those affected get the opportunity to speak out and share their story. The culmination of this project is a video created by Alexei Sai, collecting 6,400 images documenting war crimes committed by the occupiers in Ukraine. The scale of this work, combined with aggressive delivery and sound accompaniment, is able to shock the viewer for a long time.

The project was widely covered by the world's media and became the main topic of discussion in Davos. After that, the exhibition was exhibited:

7-15 July 2022: NATO Headquarters, Brussels

July 15 - October 9, 2022: PinchukArtCentre, Kyiv
