Kostiantynivka: a strategic outpost in Donetsk Oblast under attack from Russian propaganda
Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, and Kostyantynivka are cities that are part of the Kramatorsk-Kostyantynivka agglomeration. They are of strategic importance and form the basis of Ukraine's defense in Donetsk Oblast in the Russian-Ukrainian war. At the same time, the city of Kostiantynivka occupies one of the key positions in the Russian army's summer offensive. The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers analyzes the narratives and fakes spread by enemy propaganda in Kostiantynivka since the beginning of the war in 2014: from the “main base of pro-Russian militias” to the “gateway to the last agglomeration in Donbas not controlled by Russia.”

Russian missile and drone records: massive strikes on Kyiv and Lviv in documentary photographs
For six days — from July 7 to July 12 — Russia continued to attack Ukrainian cities with drones and missiles on a daily basis. The strikes covered almost all regions — from Donetsk to Lviv. Residential areas, universities, enterprises, airfields, and schools were under fire. At least 15 people were killed and more than 70 were wounded. The attacks were combined: Russia used Shahed-136, ballistic missiles, and Kinjal missiles in an attempt to overload Ukraine's air defense system.

Photo with history: without a staff war artist
No, war is by no means picturesque or beautiful, but some of its elements are beautiful, a man told me more than three years ago, looking at a cloud of nitric acid over Rubizhne in April. When I look at this May photo by Serhiy Morgunov, I remember his words. No, it's not beautiful. Not beautiful at all. However.
