The Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung Foundation from Munich, which supports modern art and natural sciences, provided Nikolaev photographer, founder of the school of conceptual and art photography “MYPH”, UAP participant Sergey Melnychenko a scholarship in the amount of 50 thousand euros for the realization of the photo project “Under the Dnipro".

The front line is 7 kilometers away. How Russians are trying to destroy Toretsk, and Ukrainians are trying to defend it
Toretsk is a city in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, located about 7 kilometers from the contact line. Every day, the occupiers shell Toretsk, like every Ukrainian frontline settlement. In 2014, Dzerzhinsk, and now decommunized Toretsk, was a typical mining town among the Terikons. Until recently, one of the mines was called “Holy Matrona of Moscow”, now it is abbreviated as “Holy Matron”.

How the virtual online museum 360war.in.ua captures the scale of destruction caused by Russian aggression
Not only to see the horrors of war on a map, but also to enter the destroyed buildings and walk the streets that Russian tanks drove yesterday. In Ukraine, they created a virtual museum 360war.in.ua to preserve the memory of the consequences of the Russian invasion. Panoramic photos of destroyed Ukrainian cities and villages in 360 format, that is, the viewing angle of which is 360 degrees, are available on the online map of Ukraine.

Microgrant and Mentorship Program to Support Ukrainian Photographers
The program includes four mentorship courses and a final competition for participants. After that, we will provide financial support of €8,000 to Ukrainian photographers who create projects related to the theme of war. First and foremost, we will support authors who do not have regular access to equipment and resources, giving them additional opportunities to continue their work.

"SMS from Mariupol"
The Ukrainian Atelier of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) and the Innovation Fund in Arts of the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts of Baden-Württemberg, presented a series of exhibition projects that served as a photo diary from occupied Mariupol. These projects were exhibited in Stuttgart and Dresden, Germany.

The photobook "Independent. The Story of Modern Ukraine in the Photographs of the Best Documentarians."
The photobook, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, was published with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Book Institute. It contains more than 140 unique documentary photographs from over 60 Ukrainian photographers, arranged chronologically from the proclamation of Ukraine's independence to the present day.

“To give a voice to those who could not speak out during their lifetime.” Lesia Marushchak about the world's most famous exhibition about the Holodomor
Project MARIA by Canadian artist of Ukrainian descent Lesia Maruschak became the most famous exhibition about the Holodomor of 1932-1933, according to the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide in Kyiv. This artwork has traveled to nine countries, and the book based on the project has won international awards. The exhibition provides an opportunity to look at the memory of the Holodomor through art, which makes a complex topic accessible and understandable on many levels.

On the anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity, the UAPF recalls how Odesa became part of the struggle for Ukraine's independence. The city, which is often called the pearl by the sea, was then on the verge of a transition between a European pro-Ukrainian future and a Russian past. In this article, we describe how Odessans fought for their freedom, and supplement the text with photographs by documentary filmmaker Oleksandr Himanov, who witnessed these events.

Olha Koval is a new member of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers who attracts the attention of the art community with her original approach to contemporary issues. Her project “Eruption” took second place in the competition of the Mykolaiv School of Photography “MYPH” and resonated with the audience and critics. She created more than 40 thousand red-winged beetles, sculpting and painting them by hand.
