Two strikes. Consequences of the rocket attack on Pokrovsk in the photos of Viacheslav Ratynskyi
On the evening of August 7, 2023, the Russian army launched two missile strikes on the center of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, multi-storey residential buildings were destroyed, 88 people were injured and 10 were killed.

“Angels with broken wings”. The consequences of the rocket attack on the historic center of Odesa in the photos of Valentyn Kuzan
On the night of July 23, 2023, the Russian army launched another missile strike on Odessa. As a result of the impact, the Transfiguration Cathedral and a number of architectural monuments in the city center were partially destroyed. More than 20 people were injured and two were killed.

“The biggest attack on Lviv”. Yurko Dyachyshyn's memories of the missile attack on his hometown
On the night of July 6, 2023, Russian troops launched another missile strike on Lviv. They launched cruise missiles “Caliber” from the waters of the Black Sea. Ten people were killed and 42 others were injured. Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi noted that this was the largest attack on the city's civilian infrastructure since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

The explosion during the farewell. The aftermath of the missile attack on Pervomaisk in the photos of Oleksandr Magula
On July 4, 2023, the Russian army struck the city center of Pervomaisky, Kharkiv region. According to the prosecutor's office of Ukraine, the Russian military launched an Iskander missile at a residential quarter of the city. Several high-rise buildings were damaged, 43 people were injured, including 12 children. The explosion occurred during a farewell ceremony with Ukrainian intelligence commander Oleg Fadeenko.

“Surrealism, which is impossible to get used to”. The aftermath of the missile attack on Kramatorsk in the photo by Sasha Maslov
On June 27, 2023, a Russian ballistic missile “Iskander” hit the cafe “Ria Pizza” in the city of Kramatorsk. The pizzeria was a popular meeting place for local youth, volunteers, journalists and military who were stationed nearby or returning from scratch. The city of Kramatorsk is located less than an hour's drive to the front line, but in the pizzeria “Ria Pizza” you could briefly feel the comfort of a peaceful life.

Flooded and shelled Kherson: the aftermath of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station explosion in the photographs of Mstyslav Chernov, Danylo Pavlov, and Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberov
On June 6, 2023, around three o'clock, the Russian military blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power plant in the Kherson region. It was the fifth largest hydroelectric power plant in Ukraine. By destroying it, the Russian invaders caused the largest man-made disaster on our continent since the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

With the support of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP), an exhibition by Ukrainian photographer Ihor Chekachkov took place. His images have been published by Forbes, National Geographic, The Guardian, Le Monde, and other international media. NA4JOPM8 is a series of photographs that unites images of fragments of reality from various spheres, ranging from protest events on Maidan in Kharkiv to intimate scenes from private life.

The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) partnered with Chekachkov Photo Academy to hold a competition for the best visual diary created during quarantine. The result was a group online exhibition titled "Those Who Are Alone," featuring the best photographs taken as part of the competition initiated by Chekachkov Photo Academy.

Virtual Gallery: Unbreakable. Chronicles of War in Ukraine
In this project, we explore the chronicles of war in Ukraine, witnessed by dozens of Ukrainian photographers. Their photographs have helped create a unique artistic space that will mark the beginning of a new era in Ukraine's history and present it to the world. The virtual gallery features both well-known images that have become part of global history and those that have yet to be published. Each photograph symbolizes the struggle, unity, and resilience of the Ukrainian people.

The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India implemented an exhibition titled "Ukraine Now: Darkness vs Light. Children Dream about Peace", which opened on April 14, 2022. The Polish Institute in India, the Pharmaceutical Company "Kusum", and representatives of the Ukrainian community in India served as partners and partial sponsors for the exhibition.
