One of the most famous food photography contests has opened its reception bidsfor 2025 in 25 categories. The jury consists of chefs, publishers, photographers, entrepreneurs and writers, and is headed by photographer David Loftus. The prize fund is over £10,000.

The Knight Science Journalism Fellowship Program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Knight Science Journalism Fellowship Program invitesjournalists, photographers, editors who cover science, health, technology, and ecology, to attend classes at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
What does the program offer?
- Studying at MIT, including one science-related course.
- Living in the Boston/Cambridge area during the school year (August — May).
- A scholarship of $85,000, paid in installments for 9.5 months.
- Covering the costs of moving, basic health insurance for participants and their families.
- Field tours, seminars and compulsory classes.
- Assistance with obtaining visas for participants and families.
Requirements for candidates:
- At least 3 years of experience in creating materials on topics of science, health, technology or ecology.
- Work as a full-time or freelance journalist (part-time work is not allowed).
- Lack of other scholarships lasting more than 4 months in the last two years.
It is unique possibilityfor professional development and expansion of horizons in the field of scientific journalism.
