This year marks 10 years since the Russians are trying to kill Ukrainians, and February 24 is the second anniversary of how the northern neighbor wants to achieve its goal with particular brutality. The largest war in Europe since World War II is multifaceted, it has many faces, symbols, images, heroes that convey its essence.

Casualties and destruction in Odesa: the aftermath of the Russian drone attack as seen through the lens of photographer Timothy Melnikov
On the night of April 23, the Russians attacked the south of Ukraine with Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs. The residential sector of Odessa fell under the enemy's sights. As a result of the enemy attack on the city, damage was recorded to almost 60 apartments in 22 houses. Nine people were also injured, including four children. This is a boy and a girl of 5 and 9 months and two boys of 9 and 12 years.

The destroyed warehouse of Nova Poshta in Odesa after a ballistic strike in the photos by Tymofiy Melnikov and Oleksandr Gimanov
On the evening of May 1, Russian troops once again attacked Odessa. The enemy struck the warehouses and the branch of Novaya Poshta. Information about the attack was confirmed on the official page of the NP. According to preliminary data, about 900 shipments were damaged and destroyed.

On the night of May 4, Russian forces attacked Ukraine from the Belgorod region with 13 “shaheeds” and 4 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. Air defense forces destroyed all 13 attack drones within Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

With the support of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP), an exhibition by Ukrainian photographer Ihor Chekachkov took place. His images have been published by Forbes, National Geographic, The Guardian, Le Monde, and other international media. NA4JOPM8 is a series of photographs that unites images of fragments of reality from various spheres, ranging from protest events on Maidan in Kharkiv to intimate scenes from private life.

The result was a group online exhibition titled "Those Who Are Alone," featuring the best photographs taken as part of the competition initiated by Chekachkov Photo Academy.

Virtual Gallery: Unbreakable. Chronicles of War in Ukraine
In this project, we explore the chronicles of war in Ukraine, witnessed by dozens of Ukrainian photographers. Their photographs have helped create a unique artistic space that will mark the beginning of a new era in Ukraine's history and present it to the world. The virtual gallery features both well-known images that have become part of global history and those that have yet to be published. Each photograph symbolizes the struggle, unity, and resilience of the Ukrainian people.

The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India implemented an exhibition titled "Ukraine Now: Darkness vs Light. Children Dream about Peace", which opened on April 14, 2022. The Polish Institute in India, the Pharmaceutical Company "Kusum", and representatives of the Ukrainian community in India served as partners and partial sponsors for the exhibition.

“In many houses, the lights are no longer turned on - entire families died there.” The tragedy in the village of Hroza in the photos of Yakiv Lyashenko
On October 5, 2023, the Russian military struck a cafe in the village of Hroza in the Kharkiv region with an Iskander missile. The café was hosting a memorial dinner, which was attended by many villagers. The strike killed 59 people, including an eight-year-old child.

On August 31, 2015, police and activists who opposed the adoption of constitutional amendments on decentralization of power clashed near the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv. More than a hundred people were injured, and four members of the National Guard were killed.

Yevhen Borysovskyi, a new member of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers, embodies two roles: serviceman and photographer. Appointed as the head of the communications department of the 148th Separate Artillery Brigade in Zhytomyr, he never planned to pursue a career in either the military or photography, but life and war had other plans.
