Rocket Attack on the village of Groza: What the Propaganda Media Reported
On October 5, 2023, the Russian army shelled the village of Hroza in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region. The strike hit a local café-store, resulting in the deaths of 59 people, including an 8-year-old boy. The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reported that nearly half of the local residents who remained in Hroza at that time were killed.

CABs in sleeping Kharkiv and evacuation in the middle of the night. The consequences of the Russian attack on the Saltovka 5-storey building in the photos of Ivan Samoilov
On the night of October 3, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv with five air bombs. According to preliminary data, these were UMPB D-30SN planning bombs. In the morning, the number of people injured in the Russian strike on Kharkiv increased to 12, including a child, said the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.

In the afternoon of September 24, 2024, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with air strikes. Today, the targets for Russian bombs are a residential building, a bakery, and a stadium.

Special issue of Reporters in English
The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPF) in cooperation with The Ukrainians published a special issue of Reporters magazine, which brought together the most powerful documentary footage of the Ukrainian struggle for freedom. The issue includes 155 photographs by the country's leading photographers, as well as texts by Dmytro Kuleba, Oleksandra Matviychuk, Serhiy Plokhiy, Volodymyr Yermolenko, Olena Stiazhkina, and Olesya Khromeichuk.

«Brave to bring the light»
An exhibition project created in cooperation between the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPF) and IST Publishing, which is being implemented as part of the presentation of the book of the same name, which reflects the life of Ukraine during the difficult period of winter blackouts in 2022-2023, as well as the courage of energy workers and every citizen of Ukraine.

WEYUAPP is an art project created by Italian photographer Lisa Borgiani in partnership with the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP). The project is a continuation of the series "What does Europe mean to you?" (WEY), which explores the sense of European identity through personal stories and visual images of European citizens.

BAKHMUT — THE FACE OF GENOCIDE (1942-2022)
The project is dedicated to the tragedy of the city of Bakhmut that took place in 2022, as well as to honoring the memory of the victims of the Bakhmut Babyn Yar, a horrific crime committed by the Nazis in 1942. This exhibition aims to unite the two genocides in one space and draw parallels between them.

“To give a voice to those who could not speak out during their lifetime.” Lesia Marushchak about the world's most famous exhibition about the Holodomor
Project MARIA by Canadian artist of Ukrainian descent Lesia Maruschak became the most famous exhibition about the Holodomor of 1932-1933, according to the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide in Kyiv. This artwork has traveled to nine countries, and the book based on the project has won international awards. The exhibition provides an opportunity to look at the memory of the Holodomor through art, which makes a complex topic accessible and understandable on many levels.

On the anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity, the UAPF recalls how Odesa became part of the struggle for Ukraine's independence. The city, which is often called the pearl by the sea, was then on the verge of a transition between a European pro-Ukrainian future and a Russian past. In this article, we describe how Odessans fought for their freedom, and supplement the text with photographs by documentary filmmaker Oleksandr Himanov, who witnessed these events.

On November 21, Ukraine marks the Day of Dignity and Freedom, commemorating the anniversaries of two significant events - the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013-2014. These events have become symbols of Ukrainians' aspirations for democracy, freedom and European values. Today, during the full-scale war with Russia, the struggle for these ideals continues.

Penetration of bugs into your personal space and how to learn to coexist with it. New UAPF member Olga Koval about her projects and plans
Olha Koval is a new member of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers who attracts the attention of the art community with her original approach to contemporary issues. Her project “Eruption” took second place in the competition of the Mykolaiv School of Photography “MYPH” and resonated with the audience and critics. She created more than 40 thousand red-winged beetles, sculpting and painting them by hand.
